Stone Oak Care Center is seeking a Director of Clinical Education to lead training and development initiatives while driving exceptional clinical standards in our community.
Your Role & Impact:
- As the Director of Clinical Education, you will play a vital role in creating a premier healthcare environment by:
- Designing, implementing, and evaluating staff education programs, including general orientation and skills training.
- Identifying training needs and ensuring compliance by serving on the QAPI Committee.
- Serves as the Infection Preventionist in the center. Responsible for surveillance, evaluating trends and responding with any training or reporting needs
- Responsible for reporting findings from Infection Control surveillance and the nosocomial rate monthly to the QAPI committee
- May be required to fulfill the job functions of a direct care nurse as determined by the needs of the patients/residents and community
What You Bring:
- Current and valid Texas RN license.
- Previous nurse education and infection control experience in skilled nursing REQUIRED.
- Previous nurse management experience in skilled nursing setting is required.
