As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and success of surgical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in creating a positive surgical experience for patients. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans
- Providing clear explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible persons
- Using clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions
- Contributing to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication
- Maintaining complete and accurate medical records
- Meeting core measure responsibilities related to patient care
- Participating in continuing education to stay current with best practices
- Holding a current Illinois Registered Nurse license and CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification is required
