Overview: Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures, maintaining all EP Lab equipment, and administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Providing care during established procedures and sedation for patients. Performs advanced level EP for cases. Additionally, will serve as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow EP lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures used in the EP Laboratory. Qualifications:
Education- Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Required
Work Experience- 4 years Cath Lab or EP Experience Required
Licenses and Certifications- Either RCIS, RCES, IBHRE, or Current GA RN Licensure Required
