CDL A Driver to support Local operations based in
Portland, OR. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon - Fri, some weekends, start and shift time varies
- Pay: $30/hr
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: General Freight
- Handling: Pallet jack
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: TWIC preferred
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks using a electric pallet jack
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
