RN Supervisor Job Summary: The Registered Nurse Supervisor will oversee day-to-day nursing activities in the facility, including developing work assignments, ensuring sufficient staffing and maintaining good working rapport.
RN Supervisor Responsibilities: - Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
- Ensure that direct nursing care is provided by a licensed nurse, a certified nursing assistant, and/or a nurse aide trainee qualified to perform the procedure
- Ensure that all RNs and LPNs on your shift comply with written procedures for the administration, storage, and control of medications and supplies.
- Provide leadership training that includes the administrative and supervisory principles essential for your Charge Nurses.
- Ensure that nursing service personnel follow established infection control procedures when isolation precautions become necessary.

RN Supervisor Requirements: - Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university and have a Connecticut RN license.
- Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
- Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
