Key Responsibilities:- Providing competent care for pediatric surgical patients on a 22 bed inpatient unit, with patient ratios of 1:3-4. Surgical specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, trauma, ORL, and plastic surgery.
- Working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team that delivers expert care.
- Attending to the full range of human experiences and responses to health and illness without restriction to a problem-focus orientation.
- Providing a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing.
- Working 36 hours per week, rotating days/nights and every third weekend.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:BSN required
Experience:- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute RN experience; 2 years strongly preferred.
- Pediatric or surgical experience strongly preferred.
Licensure/ Certifications:- Massachusetts RN Licensure
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
