Job Description :
Job Purpose
- To apply, remove, and/or measure casts, splints, and other orthopedic devices to provide patient care related to orthopedic injuries.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma, Required
- Associate’s degree or higher from an Accredited School or Institution, Preferred
- Completion of a recognized Orthopedic Technologists (OTC) Program, Preferred
Licenses and/or Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association, Required
- Registered Orthopedic Technologist Certified (ROT), Orthopaedic Technologist Certified (OTC), or Equivalent, Preferred
Work Experience:
- Proven experience as a Casting Technician, with a minimum of 1-2 years work experience, Preferred
