Overview: Operates ultrasound equip to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Education- Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
Work Experience- 4 years of experience Required
Licenses and Certifications- ARDMS registered in at least 3 specialties. (Does not include RVT) Upon Hire Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Preferred or
- RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Preferred
