What We Offer:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
34-36/hours per week.
Will require travel between Okatie and Hilton Head clinics
What We're Looking For:
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB – RT(N) or CNMT, required.
- IV Credentialed, required.
- Applicable state license, required.
- Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills; capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms; working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment, able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served; has ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his / her age-specific needs.
