Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Clinical Director of Nursing, you will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the clinical areas. You will lead with a culture of accountability and collaboration and support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

Major Responsibilities:

Leads implementation of evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and quality outcomes, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Drives standardization and efficiency in clinical practice, patient throughput, and care coordination to optimize outcomes, reduce variation, and manage costs.
Monitors internal and external benchmarks, accreditations, and regulatory standards, ensuring continuous compliance and pursuit of excellence.
Champions a culture of service excellence by leveraging feedback, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring consistent, positive patient interactions.
Fosters a high performing, engaged workforce through coaching, recognition, and development strategies, ensuring clinical competence and role alignment.
Collaborate with leadership to expand services, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies that drive differentiation and volume.
Participates in budgeting, monitors financial performance, and implements cost-saving measures while ensuring appropriate staffing and resource utilization.
Promotes communication and collaboration across departments to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care and optimal staff deployment.

What you will need for this role:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. Master’s degree, preferred
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
3+ years clinical leadership experience
5+ years OR clinical experience
