Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nurse Manager of Surgical Services is responsible for the supervision, coordination, and evaluation of business practices and procedures related to the operating room.
The Manager also coordinates and supervises the OR Analyst, Surgery schedulers and Unit Secretaries.
The Nurse Manager of Surgical Services assists the Department Director and Finance Leadership in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, financial and project management to include operational analytics.
As a member of the OR Leadership Team, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary leaders to accomplish the mission and values throughout the facility.
You will network with Business Development and Administrative Leaders with new surgeon onboarding.
You will assist with daily operations of the OR.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required

Licensure/certification/registration:

Texas State RN license or compact license required.

Experience:

Working knowledge of OR Operations.
Preferred previous management experience or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership position.
Experience with Meditech.
